Hello! I am so excited that you are looking into captioning services! I have been working as a C-Print captionist here at the University of Minnesota since 2016. I am also on the board of the Association of Transcribers and Speech-to-Text Providers. Captioning has  become a strong passion of mine. I love giving access to students, staff, faculty, and guests via captioning, and have captioned a variety of undergraduate courses (from the visual arts, to STEM/Computer science), conferences, and meetings. I come from a background of customer service and library science/tutoring. I believe that true access begins when you, the consumer, are able to take control of your accommodations. I try to be as approachable as possible and love growing with captioning consumers, so please don't hesitate to talk/email/text with any questions related to captioning, the software, school, life, or just to chat!
